Modeling and Configuration
Model and configure your complete operations and performance management system all
within one common environment and interface. MODELTrak is TrakSYS unified
configuration and modeling management environment. MODELTrak is used to represent

Communications
TrakSYS can easily unify data from disparate applications into a single application
environment. LOGICTrak is the TrakSYS Windows service that runs in the background
collecting data from I/O via OPC , supervisory systems, historians, LIMs, and other
data sources for recording events, tracking KPI, and sending event notifications
to TrakSYS nodes.

Messaging and Notification
Actionable information at the time of greatest impact has the opportunity to make
significant impacts on manufacturing cost and efficiency. TrakSYS messaging and
notification component, ALERTTrak , is the messaging and notification service
for TrakSYS. Notifications can be based on event occurrences, value changes and
KPI limits. Messaging and notification can be sent via email, SMS, to any PC, PDA,
pager or mobile phones. TrakSYS alarm and notification capabilities is ideal for
notifying the right personnel, in real time, wherever a condition requiring attention
occurs.

WEBTrak is the TrakSYS reporting and analysis component. It is a powerful
and intuitive web delivery environment where users can leverage standard out of
the box reports and analytics or easily configure their own without the need for

Production, Batch, and Recipe Management
With TrakSYS, batch and recipe management can be easily incorporated into overall
operations and performance management improvement projects. BATCHTrak is the
TrakSYS component for defining production recipes and batch functions using S88
standards. BATCHTrak is designed for both executing and tracking the performance
of batch operations With BATCHTrak its also possible to use along with existing
batch engines for performance monitoring and reporting and as the primary batch
management system.

Plant Floor and Operations User Interface
Plant floor collaboration and input is a critical component for sustainable operations
and performance improvement. EVENTTrak is the TrakSYS visualization and interaction
dashboard for production area operators. Timely and non-disruptive involvement of
operations is a critical factor in the successful execution of continuous improvement
programs and Lean initiatives. With the EVENTTrak service, operators are alerted
to recent and ongoing production events such as stoppages, rejects, and slowdowns.
Operators gain insight in real-time and can take action from being able to:

SPC Monitoring and Quality Analysis
TrakSYS provides the right tools for your quality management. SPCTrak is the
TrakSYS component that provides Statistical Process Control (SPC) functionality
for data collected from manufacturing processes. Random sample data for user-defined
process measurements and behavior can be entered through APIs available in TrakSYS.
Sample data can be collected and grouped at any stage of production. Automatically
calculate Mean (X-Bar), Sigma (standard deviation), and Range values for sample
data sets and display all necessary information in a single report for review and
analysis. Standard charts include:

Historian
HISTORITrak is the component of TrakSYS that allow selective recording of
all tag types for trending and performance analysis. Tag values can be configured
for recording to the database on a user defined period interval, when the value
changes, or a combination of both. Trend reports allow users to view single variables
against upper and lower limits or multiple variables side by side for comparison.
Trending can be done for single tags or multiple variable side by side for comparison.
Tags can be plotted versus KPI ( key performance indicators) values collected by
TrakSYS.

Task and Workflow
TrakSYS provides the capability to model and capture user interactions for a variety
of workflow scenarios. The required user inputs and business rules can be configured
in the flexible MODELTrak environment. Constraints and validation is executed by
the scripting engine. The workflow user interfaces are configured and defined using
WEBTrak post-back interactive dashboards. Hourly checks, preventative maintenance,
quality control/SPC activities are a few examples, but nearly any type of workflow
requiring a combination of automatically collected data, manual user inputs and
digital signature tracking can be achieved using the TrakSYS platform.
Improvement Tracking and Collaboration
Improve and enable collaboration throughout the entire plant or in a single department.
TrakSYS IMPROVETrak component enables the tracking and analysis of actions
taken to improve the productivity of manufacturing processes. Journal entries can
be related to assets configured in MODELTrak and entries may be integrated into
different report views in WEBTrak to chronicle the actions and their effects
related to corrective measures, improvement scenarios, and equipment/process changes.

Audit and Regulatory
TrakSYS is an ideal environment to improve efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory
compliance and traceability. AUDITTrak is TrakSYS audit and regulatory component.
It allows TrakSYS to be used in environments that must comply with FDA21-CFR Part
11 requirements. AUDITTrak requires the user to enter a digital signature in the
form of a user credential and password any time a change is made to the TrakSYS
configuration or to data that has been collected. AUDITTrak can be configured to
require one or two digital signatures when a change is made, along with notes field
for recording additional details about the change. Web-based AUDITTrak reports allow
authorized users to query and view all audit information recorded to the TrakSYS
database.

Manual Data Entry
While most production operations have automation there still often the need for
manual data entry. SCRIBETrak is the manual data entry interface for TrakSYS.
It is a configurable set of forms enabling the collection of data from assets where
automated acquisition is not possible or cost prohibitive. SCRIBETrak allows the
productivity related data(e.g. events, counts, poor quality reasons, observation,
etc…) to be entered at the end of the day, shift or production run. Data collected
by SCRIBETrak is stored analyzed and visualized in the same manner as the automatically
collected data through TrakSYS.

Enterprise Integration
Connecting the plant floor real-time with your business systems is critical in order
to optimize a company’s supply chain and business systems to remain competitive,
lower costs and improve customer satisfaction. Using the extensibility features
in TrakSYS, external business systems such as ERP, APS, CMMS, and MES applications
can be integrated to deliver real-time production visibility and responsiveness.
The TrakSYS API and scripting engine allows for bi-directional communications to
be setup with business systems for importing productions schedules, product and
material information while providing real-time plant feedback and input such as
production efficiency results, availability, workflow audit trails and electronic
